The colors and fonts used in this design are intended to be easy on the eyes as the target audience is a mother in labor and/or a support person. The open flower in the background is a reference to the goal of the graphic which is to help the mother prepare her body for delivery.

I tried to make my illustrations as realistic as possible to better relate to the real world challenges being faced by women in the process of being induced. I started with quick, almost abstract interpretations of body parts and then added more detail gradually until I found a style that worked.
